Eternal Fate 1.1.7.0 Released

We've made some important changes to the targeting system based on player feedback.

  • Targeting is now sticky. Casting spells or using your weapon attack will no longer change targets for you. If you do not have a target, trying to use an ability will still pick one for you.
  • Clicking on a target to select it now works as expected.
  • Added a new button to switch to a new target. This button is bound to Q or Left Trigger (PC Xbox controller). This can be changed on the input tab in the Eternal Fate Configuration window that opens on startup.

For most casual playing the game should feel very similar, however for advance tactics with focusing fire on a specific target, you now have more control over your character.

We've also made a few other input improvements:

  • If you have a bomb or chicken, trying to cast a spell or use the weapon attack button will now always throw that item instead of sometimes doing nothing.
  • Fixed an issue where mouse dragging will sometimes fail to start your character moving. Specifically, it was failing if you started the mouse drag with your cursor that wasn't on navigable terrain.

Additionally, we've added the total number of people playing in Arenas that are valid for your current Loadout Rarity to the PvP button on the HUD.

As always, feel free to let us know what you think in the Steam Discussions on the Community Hub.
