Dungeon Gore's Graphics and Performance Upgrade!

Dungeon Gore : Lost Treasury is now being upgraded to Unity's URP render pipeline; Meaning high quality graphics with great overall game performance.

Update Details

With the upgrade to Unity's Latest Rendering Pipeline, the game's graphics capabilities and quality has been noticeably improved; while at the same time, the game will run even smoother on middle-to-lower-end Windows, MacOS, and Linux Computers. The game now shows 60+ FPS using CPUs with 2.0GHz (64-bit) on D3D11 / Vulkan Compatible Systems

The reason for this change of rendering pipeline is to provide a flexible and performance-focused rendering system for all computer platforms (Windows, MacOS, and Linux) as well as upcoming mobile ports (Android). Also, Unity's default "Built-in" Render Pipeline is officially depreciated by Unity as it's slated for full removal in a future release of the Unity Game Engine.

Other New Features

  • Players can now adjust global light brightness from the settings.

  • First-Person Character is being rendered using a render texture instead of a mesh, resulting in performance increase.

  • Fixed a glitch in the "Shop" menu that used to show wrong upgrade levels.

  • The game now uses Adaptive Performance to help balance framerate on lower-end systems.

  • Fixed a glitch while navigating the "Settings" menu using an Xbox Controller.

  • The game uses Spatial-Temporal Post-Processing, which is a rendering upscale technique used to produce a high quality, anti-aliased (TAA) Display.

  • The game is now under the process of being ported to Android. Visit My Website or Join My Discord to stay up to date on its progress.
