We released the Multiplayer-only version (which is less expensive than full version) due to the fact that many players wanted to play only in multiplayer and single-player campaigns didn’t interest them. We left the possibility to buy the campaigns in the form of DLC for the owners of MP-only version, if they want to play co-op or single.
So, we have provided a flexible purchasing system that allows you to choose the optimal configuration of BoE, at a reasonable price according to your play style and budget.
This allows you to enhance the game with additional content by purchasing DLC’s individually, or as a package.
The Multiplayer package (Battle of Empires: 1914-1918. Multiplayer-only - base price $4.99) includes:
- Tutorial missions
- Mutliplayer MP Pack 1 & MP Pack 2 (4 nations, 7 game modes, skirmish - battles against AI, more than 20 mp maps, ww2 units set and historical reconstruction "Battle of Berlin")
Basic mp Steam workshop content is available with this package (you still need to subscribe to the workshop content).
Note: The Editor is not included in the MP version.
To gain access to the editor, single and cooperative missions from the Steam Workshop, for the muliplayer version, you need to purchase at least one single-player campaign ( i.e. France, or Russian Empire or Blazing guns or Season Pass).
