Hello everyone!
Are you ready for another weekend of competitive fishing? Many of you reached out to us after last weekend's event to tell us you had fun, so the Carp & Bream Weekend Competition is back by popular demand.
Please note that we've introduced the following rule (#3): A single fish cannot count more than once, even if you catch it several times.
Competition Summary: catch the five biggest carps and the biggest bream you can this weekend, and post your screenshots in this thread. The 3 players with the highest cumulated weight win something. Bonus points for leather carps.
Rules
- Competition runs from Saturday, May 30th at 00:01 until Sunday, May 31st at 23:59 (based on your timezone).
- Only fish caught during these two days will count towards your total.
- A single fish cannot count more than once, even if you catch it several times.
- You can fish for as long as you want and catch as many fish as you want, but you can only pick six fish in total to count towards your total (5 carps and 1 bream)
- Entrants should post screenshots of the 5 largest carps and the largest bream altogether in one post in THIS THREAD. No screenshot, no points.
- Each entrant’s submissions will be tallied by DTG Staff on Monday, June 1st.
- Leather carp will count as weighing an extra 5lbs compared to common or mirror carp.
- The top player will receive a DTG Fishing t-shirt and have a peg named after them for the duration of Phase 6.
- The following two players will have a peg named after them for the duration of Phase 6.
How to take screenshots and add them to your post
- You can take a screenshot by pressing F12. Please note that your screenshots will only be uploaded to your Steam profile after you close your game.
- To access your screenshots, go to Steam and find your screenshots under Content in the Tab named after you (top centre).
- Right-click on the screenshot you want to add to your post and click on ‘copy link address’
- The screenshot will be automatically embedded into your post
