As per requests from plenty of you the first set of Trading Cards are now available for RPG Tycoon.
The first set is a series of 5 of the Early Access Character types for the game, see if you can collect them all.
The Knight
The Valiant
The Mage
The Adventurer
The Other Adventurer
This is all I'll be putting together for early access as development is more important, but I'll be adding more once the game gets further along so enjoy and good luck with the collecting!
Secondly, I have a busy couple of weeks at the moment where I'm unfortunately engaged on a previous project. So development will be a little slower for a while.
However you can Follow me on twitter for updates on progress as in the downtime I have I plan on doing as much as I can to get the game to a stable state for you all. Once this is met, I'll be keeping the game in this state until a significant amount of changes have been added and stability approved. I'm concerned that I'm often updating and bugs are occurring. I'm aware that many of you are buying into this expecting a solid build, unfortunately that's usually not the case with an early access such as this however to avoid these concerns from you, once I'm happy that the current build is stable i'll be opening up a beta for anybody that is happy to test new features for the game and help iron out bugs before putting out a public release of that build.
Put simply after (semi)stability is gained from the current 0.1.6 build. I will be opening up a separate test build in the beta's section for people who do not care about the bugs and want to help test new features until it is stable enough to make public. So there will be two builds.
- (Semi) Stable Public Build with Minimum Bugs
- Less Stable Testing Build, probably with bugs, but new features to play around with when they're added.
Hopefully this will help everyone get the best of both worlds, have their cake and eat it too etc... as the upside to the public build will be that it's as bug free as it can be at the time, but won't necessarily have new features for a while. And the test build will go up as new features are added for people to feedback on and once that build is stable, it will go public and the cycle shall continue.
Thanks,
