Here we are folks, Qubicks 2.0 Relaunch is here - after the initial launch didn't get much traction I decided to make a massive re-make with huge content update, massive bug fixes and brand new campaign with hopes to begin the traction.
This update starts a whole new phase of Qubicks so sit down tightly and enjoy a brand new experience with new towers and evolutions, updated progression system, all bug fixes that you sent to me, and much, much more!
Planet Mastery
Remember how you had to reach wave 100 to win? Forget about it, now you can't win!
Just kidding, now you can't lose, and win is basically every single wave you reach, because now there is no single goal to reach, you just need to survive as long as possible and get the rewards based on how long you survived.
Here is how it looks after the end

And after reaching specific milestones of waves 25, 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 you earn a respective badge and a special reward.

Card Tokens and Evolutions Ranks
Remember how you got all cards available and all you had to do is just a build your deck with them?
Well, not anymore, now you have only 5 cards available from the start, and after reaching wave milestones you will be earning card tokens that you can use to unlock new cards that will be appearing in deck draft later.
Also, now you can't just farm tons of XP and unlock all evolutions of a tower, you need to unlock the respective evolution rank first and the max XP you can carry will be limited based on your evolution rank of a tower.

Hero Fragments
Before, for unlocking the hero you needed to spin the roulette that you can unlock with a key, now keys are replaced with hero fragments that you still can use for a hero roulette, but now you can save them up and buy a hero directly if you don't want to rely on a luck.

Planet Keys
Now you also don't have access to other planets right away, you start with only Lunar planet unlocked, and to unlock another planet you need a planet key that you can unlock after reaching wave 75 on lunar planet - so now you need to basically master one planet before you can move to another one!

Assassin Tower
There is a brand new tower that is cheaper than the soldier and initially even weaker than the soldier, but it's latter evolutions can become really strong real fast.

Here is a glimpse on what it can do on latter evolutions, and that's just a small part of everything it can do!

It is also the tower with the biggest evolution tree in the whole game!

Pollution Collector new Evolution
Remember how it was almost impossible to regenerate the health of your base, so if some of the enemies breached your defense, those health points were basically gone!
Also, remember the pollution collector tower that not many of you used?
I managed to find a single solution that fixes those both problems - an evolution of pollution collector that converts the pollution to health of your base!

Updated Collector Mechanic
Oh, I know how many of you loved the collector for being too overpowered, well I think I made it a little bit more "immersive" to use :)

Now you won't get all the money it generates automatically, you actually need to collect those money manually or else you'll lose them all, but don't worry, you can buy an auto-collecting upgrade!

Tower Merge Mechanic
Remember how at late waves you didn't have enough room for new towers and all placed ones couldn't provide you enough defenses?
Now, after wave 75 the new "Tower Merge" button is unlocked that you can use to merge 2 identical towers into single, stronger one, saving up a lot of space while improving your defenses massively.

New Game Modes
Before, you had only one game mode - deck draft with unlimited cards, so you basically select the tower for your deck and it gets unlocked fully and you can place how much you want.
Now, there is a brand new game mode - deck draft with limited cards, so the same system as it was before, but now cards are not unlocked forever but you actually collect the cards, so if you collected 2 cards of a soldier you can place no more than 2 soldiers until you draft more.
The old game mode with unlimited cards is still available but will give you less rewards.
Then, there is a "sandbox" mode, which is basically the same game mode as the DEMO have, so you have all the cards unlocked from the start, no more deckbuilding, this mode is suitable for testing out new towers and creating strategies, therefore you earn no rewards from it.

Improved visuals
Apart from new content, I decided to improve the existing one, and the more visible upgrades are upgrades to the visuals!
Tower Range Visuals
The biggest visual upgrade was made to the range circle of a tower.
Now it has a nice glowing outline, it also pulses matching the tower fire rate, all enemies who enter the range will highlight in blue and the enemy tower is currently targeting gets another highlight!
Plus the selected tower gets another highlight of its own!

Tower Occupied Area Visuals
Firstly, occupied area of a tower was displayed as a plain red circle, then I introduced the yellow blocks - system that was in my game until now.
But now, it is back to the red circle, but this time it is pixelated which matches the voxel aesthetic a lot more, and it is not a floating circle anymore but it gets projected to the ground and covers the terrain!

Animation of Selecting a level
This is a simple visual upgrade, I just added some small highlight to the selected level, and all completed levels now have the color and the badge of the mastery rank you reached on that level.

Environmental Effects Visuals
Now effects such as low/high temperature, high pollution levels and high radiation levels tints the the screen into the respective color and launches some small particles across the whole level.

Also, now all tower that gets stalled due to radioactivity gets this mark.

And when humanoid towers gets destroyed due to radiation, they do so with a nice dissolve animation.

Max Out Button
Now, at the left side of the tower info panel there is a "MAX" toggle, which if you enable you don't have to buy all the upgrades of a tower one by one, but it'll buy the highest upgrade you can get with your money.

Effect Badges
Also, at the left side of the tower info panel there are badges showing the effects that are affecting current tower.

Custom Seed
Now you can use custom seed for your games if you'd like to replay game on the same map as before, or as other player before you, but note that this will reduce your rewards.
