Movement
This animation overhaul marks a new standard for Dead Metro, improving both movement fluidity and overall mobility.
We have also added additional animation details. When players look around, the character's head will now turn in the same direction as the camera.
Another detail added in this update is dynamic equipment movement. Items attached to the player's backpack will now move naturally along with the character.
Improve Movement
Improved vaulting animations to make climbing over obstacles smoother and more natural.
Additional details have also been added, such as switching the hand position of equipped items while climbing, allowing players to carry a torch without it disappearing during the animation.
Piercing Bullets

The combat against the infected has changed significantly. Players can now make better use of firearms, as bullets can penetrate infected bodies. A single shot can pass through multiple infected, allowing players to eliminate several targets at once.
Penetration power depends on the type of ammunition used. Larger calibers are capable of penetrating more effectively. However, this may not work against certain infected, especially larger or tougher variants that cannot be penetrated.
Effects

Added damage effects that appear on the screen when players are hit by attacks or gunfire.
When taking damage, players will now see visual indicators around the edges of the screen based on the type of damage received.
Optimization
Improved distant object rendering to reduce unnecessary object loading and improve overall rendering efficiency.
Improved texture stability in out-of-city areas, reducing unnecessary texture loading and streaming issues.
FIX
- Reversed the bow aiming stance to prevent it from blocking the camera view
- Fixed broken vehicle windows so bullets can properly pass through them
- Fixed an issue where thrown objects, such as fuel cans, appeared in incorrect positions after landing
- Fixed visual inconsistencies between object explosions and their actual locations
- Fixed a multiplayer issue where some players could not see vehicles that had spawned directly in front of them

BUG
- In multiplayer, red fuel barrels placed throughout the world may still appear in different positions for different players
- Infected physics body updates are not fully stable and may occasionally become desynchronized, making them difficult to hit
- Infected may still clip through player-built structures
