Hi!
Burden Street Station is a cosmic archival psycho-drama dressed as a train sim,where you wear personalities like prosthetics to advance dialogue. And now it offers a sneak peek behind the space-veil of its world and story. In simpler terms: THE DEMO IS HERE!
In this world, memories and precious moments are harvested and turned into pulp fiction for the extradimensional Celestials. It’s not as bad as it sounds, and for some (you) it’s even a job. Yet the God overseeing and molding the world of Burden Street Station has disappeared.
Without any change or progress, nobody has any chance at going through a character arc. This put both the lives of the inhabitants and book production into a torpor. You – a lowly librarian, – and your entirely unenthusiastic book-companion are tasked with getting to the bottom of all this (and maybe ushering back in a little positive chaos).
Demo Features
Experience the opening chapters of Burden Street Station — two inter-woven storylines, and a shallow dip into the cosmic opera of what happened to this world;
Explore LoTown, the surreal district — discover one of the game’s three major districts. Expect impossible architecture, dubious rules and liminal atmosphere;
Meet the locals — interact with the LoTown’s cast of misfits and learn their quirks. Test your personality-switching power and make new friends (and foes!);
Experience the game’s original soundtrack — Immerse yourself in the uncanny and dreamy atmospheric score composed specifically for this world.
Don’t forget to share your experience with Burden Street Station once you try it out, any way you see fit. (There IS a fancy survey though if you are so inclined. Your feedback helps me a ton!)
SURVEY
Oh, and we can’t forget about my Discord. Not only are you welcome to discuss Burden Street Station there, but my other game – Pillory, – also gets its own damp, murky corner on the server. Perfect place to talk about both projects or just have a good time in the chat.
Until next time,
