Welcome: A Cozy Estuary is a charming neighbourvania game inspired by the heartwarming Welcome Animated Series. Meet familiar faces, explore a beautiful estuary environment, build your dream home, and craft your way to cozy perfection. π‘π
Playtest Features:
- ~1 hour of gameplay showcasing core mechanics: questing, farming, fishing, collecting, and exploring with controller and multi-language (English, French, Spanish) support!
- A glimpse into the story and characters of the Estuary.
- A chance to provide valuable feedback and shape the game's development.

Roadmap:
We're still in the early development phase. This playtest focuses on gameplay basics. Here's a peek at what's coming next:
- Expanding the Estuary: More areas to explore, including the aquatic and treetop towns.
- Deeper Story: Uncover the mysteries of the Estuary and connect with its quirky inhabitants.
- New Activities: Crafting, Cooking, Mining, Logging, Bug Catching and more!
- Community Features: Interact with other characters, trade items, and build relationships.
- Decoration and Customization: Decorate your own Estuary! Place new objects or move any building around. Decorate inside your home or dress up your character.
Known Issues:
We're still polishing things up! Here are some known issues in this playtest:
- Occasional frame rate drops: We're optimizing performance, especially in busy areas.
- Minor text glitches: A few typos and formatting issues might sneak in.
- Character animations: Facial expressions are still being refined (thanks for the feedback!).
