Good news - we finally have a fix for the performance issues! Today we are releasing a small hotfix update focused on the performance problems we have heard about over the past few weeks.
Hotfix Update Contents
This update is mostly addressed to players with older PC setups, especially those using slower hard disk drives (HDDs) who encountered very long loading times at launch and occasional hiccups during gameplay.
Long story short: the problem was caused by how many files the game had to load at the same time. To fix this, we changed the game's file compression system. Now, much, much less data needs to be loaded when the game starts, which should drastically improve loading times for HDD users. As a bonus, the total game size is now even smaller, so you are saving some disk space too!
Once you update the game and download the hotfix, the game should run much smoother on the mentioned setups. Please let us know if this solves the performance issues for you! As always, feel free to reach out if anything else is affecting your Scriptorium experience - we are always here to help.

We surely know that one of your most requested features is the Sandbox Gallery - so the ability to work on multiple sandbox artworks at the same time, saving them and getting back to editing them later. We're sooo happy to tell you that the work on this feature is going great! Soon, you will be able to save and work on many different sandbox creations at the same time.
