Team Phases
The new phase path feature is an experimental attempt to provide a more consistent narrative behind the attribute fluctuation for each team at the end of each season, simulating the "rise and fall" cycles of a football team.
At the start of each save, every team is randomly assigned one of the built-in paths. Each path consists of a sequence of yearly phases. Once a team goes through all phases in the path, they will be assigned another random path.
Available paths
- Standard: Volatile → Rising → Stall → Declining → Self-correcting
- Bullish: Rising → Stall → Rising → Stall
- Bearish: Declining → Stall → Declining → Stall
- Bullish to Bearish: Rising → Rising → Declining → Declining
- Bearish to Bullish: Declining → Declining → Rising → Rising
- Rebuilding: Reset → Volatile → Stall
You can click on the "help" icon next to the path on any team card to find out their own phases.

Phase Definitions
Some phases (Volatile and Reset) only change specific attributes, while others (Rising and Declining) apply to all attributes:
- Volatile: Penalty and luck attributes are randomized largely based on the elo ratings.
- Rising: Attributes generally improve.
- Stall: Attributes tend to see little change.
- Declining: Attributes generally decrease.
- Reset: Attack and Defence are recalculated based on current Elo ratings.
- Self-correcting: Attributes decreases if up too much or increases if down too much.
