African Nations League
The new Nations League, based on the proposed 2029 format, will feature all 54 nations competing within four geographical zones: North, East, West, and Central-South.
Each of the East, West or Central-South zone will consist of four groups of four teams. The Northern zone will only have two groups of six teams as Mauritania officially joined the North Africa a few days ago.
The winners of each group, along with runners-up of the Northern zone, will advance to a centralized Round of 16 to determine the overall winner.

To align with other settings related to group indices in the editor, the “Group numbers” setting in the “Brackets” section has been renamed as “Group indices.” The values are zero-based, meaning that group number 1 now corresponds to group index 0.
Rivalry
The rate at which rival relationships improve or deteriorate has been adjusted. If a rivalry’s intensity become too low, there is a small chance it will be dissolved, If it happens, you’ll receive a notification after matches.

Transition effects have been used in order to reduce flashing issues that occur when switching to a new stage.
