2026 World Cup Finals
Twelve European teams that are directly qualified will be prevented from being drawn into the same groups. This makes sure teams like Norway or Scotland will not be grouped with European top sides such as England, Germany, or Spain.
By default, this rule is only enabled for the 2026 Finals tournament as an experiment.
This rule has been introduced due to this rumor.
Editor: qualification tags
For other tournaments, you can use "qualification tags" to restrict the draw in a similar fashion as the World Cup finals.
In the editor, there is a new tag input within each rule that allows you to enter at least one tag. Simply provide an identifiable tag name for your reference and press "Enter".

Then, in the "Draw" section, add "Separate teams by qualification tags" and type the same tag name(s), so all teams qualified via the rules with the same tag(s) will be kept apart.

Home / away overall standings
You can use the filter in group stages to view the home/away overall standings. In previous versions, the filters only work for the individual group standings table.
Confederations Cup Host
Previously, the Confederations Cup was held at neutral venues. It will now be hosted by one of the World Cup host nations and they will also take part in the competition.
Misc
Reduced the frequency of high-scoring match results.
Removed the "hide momentum bar" option in the settings.
