Editor: Custom Seeding values
Previously, all World Cup finalists were seeded based on their world rankings. With the new "seeding value" option in qualification rules, you can create a more flexible seeding system. For example, in the 48-team World Cup finals, teams qualifying through UEFA and intercontinental play-offs can be automatically placed in pot 4, while other directly qualified teams are assigned to pots 1 through 3.
To enable this system, use these two settings together:
1. In the “Qualifications” section, assign a higher seeding value to qualification rules for teams you want to seed lower. You can see that in the WC's group stage, the rules for playoff teams have a higher seeding value.

2. In the “Seeding orders” setting, add "Seeding value (ASC)" after "Hosts" but before "Elo ratings (DESC)".

With these settings, the simulator is able to process the seeding and sorting criteria in the order they are provided by the "Seeding orders". (Hosts first, then seeding values, and finally Elo ratings).
These settings are based on the current FIFA's proposals, though there are rumors that all four pots might be based solely on world rankings in the future.
The 24 and 32-team World Cups also use the same seeding values for the finals' qualification rules.
Bug fixes
- With three UEFA teams as World Cup hosts, the UEFA playoff for that one remaining spot should involve only four teams, not eight.
- Identified and potentially fixed an issue where the group draw logic could incorrectly assign teams to the wrong pots (e.g., a Pot 4 team being incorrectly moved to Pot 3).
