We have just done a massive overhaul on the lobby system under the hood, which we think you are all going to really like! From our internal testing, it has resulted in a MASSIVE INCREASE IN CONNECTION SUCCESS RATES. With that said, as a 4-man team, we can only test so many different computers and architectures for stability with the changes. So this is a call for beta testers! If you would like to experience the great lobby overhaul first-hand, you can now switch over to the beta branch and dig in! To do so, right click on our game in your Steam library, click "Properties", go to the "Betas" tab, and opt in to the available beta!
To further sweeten the deal, we are planning to provide in-game incentives to people who post on the community forums about the lobby overhaul, good or bad. We really want this system working reliably before it goes to the main branch for everybody.
Oh! One thing you will notice - folks on the beta branch will not be able to play with folks on the main branch. The two versions are incompatible and their lobbies won't cross-list. So if you are testing with friends, make sure you all opt into the beta. Thanks so much everybody!
