The last fix drop of the month, but certainly not the last round of fixes we'll need before release. This time up, we're tackling saves again! Namely addressing saving/loading between multiple steam accounts and cloud save issues. The specific fixes are below:
- Added sub-folders to keep track of which steam account a save was made in to address multi-account save overwrite errors. This will not be able to "rescue" saves that were previously affected unfortunately, but is meant to prevent future occurrences.
- Added backup saving system to create automatic backups of save files in your Steam ID subfolder when creating new saves.
ATTENTION: For ensuring your saves during this transition phase, please make a backup copy of your .data files located at C:\Users\(you)\AppData\LocalLow\Deli Interactive\We Need to Go Deeper and keep them handy for this initial process. Since we didn't track Steam IDs before this patch, the issue could still occur in saves created prior to the patch, so ensure your saves if you have a machine with multiple users. After the update, this should no longer occur, however.
