On this International Viking Day, we honor the legacy of the Norse with something worthy of the sagas: the unveiling of our latest trailer and a new name - NORSE: Oath of Blood.
This trailer offers new peeks into the brutal violence, rich culture, and delicate diplomacy that define the Viking age in our upcoming turn-based tactical RPG.
Set in the harsh, untamed wilderness of dark age Norway, NORSE: Oath of Blood puts players in the war-worn boots of Gunnar, a young warrior out to avenge the murder of his father, Jarl Gripr, at the hands of the traitor Steinarr Far-Spear. As Gunnar, you must rebuild your shattered clan, gather allies, and rise to reclaim what was taken.
But survival in this world demands more than vengeance.
Key Features:
- Tactical Turn-Based Combat: Engage in brutal skirmishes where positioning and tactics are everything.
- Settlement Building: Raise your village from a meager camp to a fortified stronghold.
- Narrative-Driven Choices: Forge alliances, betray enemies, and shape Gunnar’s destiny through every decision.
- Authentic Viking Storytelling: Written by Giles Kristian, Sunday Times bestselling author of Norse historical fiction, the game delivers an immersive, character-driven Viking epic.
Currently in development for Windows PC and consoles, NORSE: Oath of Blood is scheduled for release in 2025.
Raise a horn and join us in honoring the legacy of the Norse, the seafarers, warriors and storytellers whose sagas still echo through the fjords of history.
