The highlight of Patch V0.3.0 is none other than the Jötunnshard — a legendary ice magic weapon built for players who thrive on tactical decision-making and battlefield control.
This isn’t your average spell weapon. The Jötunnshard turns every room into a cold calculation, rewarding players who can position well, control groups, and strike with precision.
What Makes Jötunnshard Legendary?
Designed for crowd control specialists, Jötunnshard offers a unique way to fight:
Freeze Mechanics Each attack can immobilize enemies, freezing them in place and giving you full control of the battlefield.
Power Scaling The more enemies you freeze, the stronger your damage becomes. Jötunnshard scales its power based on how many targets are currently frozen, turning tactical control into lethal force.
Strategic Gameplay Unlike high-speed or high-crit weapons, Jötunnshard rewards smart spacing, enemy grouping, and timing. It’s not about attacking fast — it’s about attacking right.
Best For These Players
If you:
Love AoE spellcasting
Prefer to control the pace of a fight
Enjoy builds that scale over time through smart decisions
…then Jötunnshard is for you.
It’s especially effective in chambers with high enemy density, and pairs beautifully with Trails like Mimir (for spell damage scaling) or Frigg (for chaos and crowd manipulation).
Control the Chaos
Jötunnshard isn’t just a weapon — it’s a strategy. It gives you the tools to slow the fight down, take control, and wipe out entire rooms with calm precision. And in a game like Duriano, that kind of control can be the difference between glory and a restart screen.
Equip it. Freeze everything. Become the storm.
