Hello Warriors!
This week, we are adding the new, limited-time "Lucky Strike" effect for all heroes, just in time for St. Patrick's Day this weekend. The effect can be used on idle, emotes and executions and will cost 1703 Steel. This effect will only be available from now (March 15th) until March 22nd. After that, it will be gone forever. Down the Hatches, Warriors!
In addition to the new effect, the "Down the Hatch" emote has also been discounted to 5,000 Steel in honor of the upcoming holiday. The discount is only valid until Mar 22nd at 8:00 AM EDT. After that, it goes back up to it's full price of 10,000 Steel. Dominating the battlefield is hard work, so keep those heroes hydrated!
Ranked Dominion
Today also marks the return of Ranked Dominion, which will be replacing Ranked Tribute. Alongside this change, we will also be resetting rank in 4v4 and are reducing the ranked promotion and demotion bonuses from 25% to 10%. This should help players to move more smoothly through the ranking system, allowing them to reach their true skill ranking more easily.
Event Order
This week's Event Order is "Dominant Executioner." As a community, you will need to perform as many executions as you can in Dominion. The event order will begin at March 16th at 1:00 PM EDT and will be open till March 19th at 3:00 PM EDT. The reward for completing it is 2,000 Steel. As a reminder, you will need to participate in the event order to receive the steel reward.
