Welcome to our eighth developers update for Call to Arms! We will use these updates to keep you posted on the progress of the development and features.
Check out the Change-Log of the latest patch!
New vehicles
The community voted for the M2A3 Bradley and BMP-2 and today they joined the battlefield in Call to Arms! Both are equipped with deadly weaponry. For the first time you are able to use TOWs that add a new level of depth to tank combat.
New gamemode
We have been working on a new gamemode for Call to Arms which is called Last Man Standing. Contrary to Domination, you do not receive any payback for lost units during the battle. This makes the gamemode a lot more tactical and strategic as keeping your men alive is your key priority. To regain some resources, you can capture supply boxes on the map. These supply boxes provide great incentive to push into enemy territory. You win the match if you reach the score limit by destroying enemy troops, or if your enemy runs out of troops, or if you capture their base flag.
New graphic options
Finally we introduced a simple way to select your graphic options with presets ranging from minimal to ultra. These settings are optimized and heavily recommended. Furthermore, we re-introduced the no shadow option.
Multiplayer optimization
We polished the level of detail settings and introduced special settings for multiplayer. This allow us to enhance the graphics fidelity in singleplayer without hurting the performance in multiplayer!
