Welcome to our fifteenth developers update for Call to Arms! We will use these updates to keep you posted on the progress of the development and features.
Call to Arms is progressing very well and we have quite some news for you!
Alliances
One of the biggest new features will be the upcoming multiplayer alliances. In the future, you will be able to play with different factions in the same team. Hosts have the option between:
- the classic mode of faction vs. faction
- alliances that represent factions that fight together in the story-line
- free factions in which each player can choose whatever he wants to play with
This might not be ground breaking at this point, but it’s an important feature for the future of Call to Arms. After the release of the game, we will be working on new factions that can partner up with the existing ones!
King of the Hill
Thanks to the new code for the alliances feature, you will also be able to play games with more than 2 teams. For instance king of the hill 2v2v2v2. More cool gamemodes will be coming soon to add a nice variation to the game!
Thermal vision
To enhance usability of 3rd person in dense environments, we’ve been working on thermal vision for vehicles. It will make it much easier for you to spot enemies and focus on what’s really important during combat.
Release date
We are scheduling the game for a release in October 2016. Thanks to your support we are able to make this game bigger and better, hence we want to use the time to really polish the game up for a great experience.
Call to Arms has been coming along nicely and we will continue to push the game forward! ːcta_emo10ː
