Hello Robocrafters!
In one of our last updates we revealed that we were planning to introduce leaderboards into the next major build on March 7th! We already revealed weapon ratings but today we’re going to talk about player ratings and clan ratings
Player Ratings
Player ratings will be used to factor in a player’s diversity across all weapon types. Should a player solo one single weapon, they will see a significantly lower player rating than another who has mastered several weapons.
Clan Ratings
Clan ratings can be split across weapon and player rating. The clans rating is based on the sum of the ranking criteria for all players. So if a clan has several inactive players this will likely bring their overall rank down.
Leaderboard scopes
It is going to be a tough road to the top of a leaderboard. It may seem a very tough goal to reach, but there will be several ways to encourage competitiveness among friends and regionally!
Global And Regional
While there can only be one global person at the top of the leaderboards, there will also be several regional leaderboards:
- Africa
- Antarctica
- Asia
- Europe
- North America
- Oceana
- South America
Friends
If you’ve added a player in game as a friend (we can’t read from your Steam friends list) you’ll also be able to filter the leaderboards to ONLY show your friends progress. So even if you may be unable to compete with those in the global top tier, you can enjoy competing with friends for bragging rights!
Website
Not only will you be able to view the leaderboards in game, but you’ll also be able to view it on the Robocraft website! It’ll have the same functionality as its in game counterpart!
We’re looking forward to seeing more competitiveness in Robocraft! Let us know what you think of these leaderboard systems!
Tomorrow we'll share more info on the giant claw that Cray has been working on.

Build, Drive, Fight!
