Hello.
This is Blagos, a mid-level manager at Async Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Backroom Company).
I focus on evaluating your research performance and eliminating unnecessary resources that hinder efficiency.
As of March 14 (KST 18:30), the research environment at Backroom Company has been restructured.

📖🔓 Story System Update
"Experience the evolving records of 'Backroom Company.' 🏢📜"
- The stage progression system has been changed. Unlocking a higher stage will disable previous stages from being played. However, once all stages are unlocked, all previous stages can be replayed.
- Story stage cutscenes are now limited to a single playthrough. Story content will be presented only during the first entry into each stage.
- Additional story-related mechanics are planned. Expect new elements such as Blagos’ sound-based Easter eggs and his increasingly cynical reactions upon stage completion.
- Legacy save data is incompatible with the new story system. Players using older save data will not be able to experience the updated story content.
● Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the creatures 'Manjimutt' and 'Skin Stealer' would stop in front of the player during jump attacks.
- Fixed an issue where certain spray particles were not displaying correctly.
- Fixed an issue where 'Manjimutt' and 'Skin Stealer' remained floating in the air after attacking.
- Fixed an issue where attacking creatures first did not trigger combat mode.
- Fixed an issue where items dropped in the elevator remained floating after the v99.5 update.
- Fixed an issue where items stored in the elevator did not follow into the stage when loaded from a save file.
You will now continue your experiments under new directives.
Excuses are unnecessary. Complaints are irrelevant.
No matter what changes occur, your tasks remain the same.
Whatever meaning this update holds for you is irrelevant.
This research does not take your emotions into account.
"Now, let’s begin again."
