Now you’ve had the chance to get to grips with attacking, tunneling, obliteration, and entrapping your enemies, we figured it was time to start holding some (Beta) tournaments.
So, first up is the 5v5 European Shootout. Teaming up with EGL we are keeping this first tournament a little smaller just to explore how everything runs; don’t worry though, we will be expanding to other regions very soon!
The tournament sign-up will be going live today, January 21st, at 7pm GMT on Block N Load's EGL page but to be ready you can create an EGL account and profile for your captain now.
With Block N Load Swag Bags up for grabs and the chance to take on a pro EGL team - that’s right they’re so excited they are taking part as well - and help us test out our tournament set ups, you don’t want to miss this one.
Here’s the lowdown:
- 8 teams - 7 teams from Europe with one slot reserved for EGL's team
- These teams will fight it out amongst themselves to determine the best two from the region.
- The best teams will then face off in the mother of all climactic finals (best of three).
So what do you have to do?
- Form a team.
- Get your team captain to create an EGL account and complete their profile.
- Sign-up for the tournament here from 7pm GMT.
- When you follow the above link it should take you to the Block N Load page
on EGL. Click the only tournament available and you will be prompted to
create a team.
The action promises to be block-tastic and we want you to be involved so don't miss out as the 8 tournament spaces are going to fill up quickly.
