Good news everybody...
We now believe we have solved the issues with the majority of intel/NVidia laptops and have also made steps towards fixing some crashes and perhaps have increased the performance.
For those who have been experiencing issues, please download the latest version. You may need to restart Steam in order to update the game.
If you do run into any issues, please let us know via the forums or by email
Please make sure you do the following though –
- Open the NVidia Control panel (right click on your desktop and select this from the menu)
- Go to “manage 3D Settings” and then to the “Program Settings” tab
- Select the ess.exe file from the drop down menu (you may need to add this using the “add” button)
- In section 2 please select the option “High-performance NVIDIA Processor”
