Hello Red Crucible Fans!
Rocketeer Game Studio has been well aware of a situation some players have experienced and have been calling the “White Bug.” After extensive observation and testing we are confident in our findings and ready to make an official announcement about the “White Bug”.
On 9/17/2015 we had released a security patch that helped reduce the amount of hackers in public matches. Instead of temporarily banning players for using cheat software or permanently banning the accounts for violating the Terms of Services, this patch would isolate these players from the rest of the community and send them to their own “Cheat Server”. Once there, these cheating accounts would only be able to play with other cheating accounts, and would no longer be able to play with competitive, fair-playing accounts.
We are now officially announcing and supporting this feature in Red Crucible Firestorm.
That being said, on 12/31/2015 all accounts that were affected by the “White Bug” have been given a second chance to stop using Cheat Software in Red Crucible. Any accounts that are caught using cheat software from this point forward will not be unbanned nor will they be removed from the Cheat Server. Any account(s) that has been caught using cheat software may be permanently banned without warning or further notice.
