Yes! Ghosts are transparent when you are close to them. It should fix visibility problems specially in Hot Lap Championship.
Also there is a bugfix with some textures not showing correctly.

Transparency can't be adjusted right now, it's hardcoded but I think it's OK and much much better than before ;)
