Dear Survivors and Warriors,
Today is the day! Pick up your arms and brace yourself for a tough new challenge in our v0.4.0 update. Scout the great Desert, restore the Ancient Map, and travel to the Lost City to lift its curse. Put the dead to rest once more, or make them rise again as your own spectral soldiers with the new Necromancer variant’s weapon: Black Magic!

New Map & Progression Changes
With this update, the flow of the Story Mode has been changed.
New Map: Open Desert. Unlocks after beating the Ice Dragon in Glacial Northland.
Unlocking the Obelisks in Royal Forest now requires players to beat the hidden boss in the Open Desert map.
Unlocking the Obelisks on HARD is not required anymore. Instead, Royal Forest (HARD) is now the last map to unlock.
To unlock Royal Forest (HARD), players have to beat the Armadillo, Ice Dragon, and the Open Desert’s hidden boss on HARD.
Further tweaks and changes to the progression will be made with the next update.

Crazed Chemist (Moe)
Starting Weapon: Dormant Amulet
Ability: Force Field
Necromancer (Adissa)
Starting Weapon: Black Magic
Ability: Volatility
New Weapons
Dormant Amulet: Creates XP over time. Can be enchanted for free at maximum level. Offers two Enchantment variants.
Black Magic: Immediately defeats some enemies that have 20% less HP than the player's maximum HP.
New Enchantments
Amulet of Elements (Dormant Amulet): Enhances elemental effects.
Amulet of Combustion (Dormant Amulet): Makes enemy projectiles explode.
Necronomicon (Black Magic): Raises defeated enemies.
New Trinkets
Whetstone: Increases Damage and Critical Hit Rate.
Cursed Idol: Massively increases Attack Speed, but lose knockback on every other level.
Balance Changes
Adissa (Heart of Winter): Removed Fire damage penalty. Increased Ice damage bonus +25% > +35%.
Autumn Storm (Gaia Harp Enchantment): Damage type changed to Fire.
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug that made the Charged Hammer quest available later than intended.
Fixed missing hit flash animations for several enemies.
Fixed text display for the term "Blacksmith Upgrade" in German, Spanish & Portuguese.
Fixed a minor navigation issue between Royal Forest (HARD) and Viking Village on the World Map.
Other Improvements
Updated multiple quest icons for better consistency.
Changed the order of several quests in the list.This change is purely cosmetic change.
Certain quests are revealed to the player earlier now.
The quest description on how to unlock "Christa: Raven" was rephrased to make it more clear.
Added a spawn sound for the Armadillo Boss.
Changed XP crystals to be colored red, starting from 25+ XP now, instead of the previous 50+ XP.
