New Systems Added & Expanded: Romance, Nation Founding, and Officer Recruitment
In the Early Access version, we have implemented three major new systems that were not present in the demo:
Romance, Nation Founding, and Officer Recruitment.
These additions allow the player to become even more deeply involved in the living world where NPCs act and evolve autonomously.
Romance: The Player Can Now Marry, Just Like the NPCs
Until now, the world of The End of History already featured a unique system where
NPCs marry, have children, and pass their legacy on to the next generation.
With this update,
the player can now participate in this cycle as well.
Propose Marriage or a Lover Relationship to NPCs You Befriend
Once an NPC reaches the “close friend” stage,
you gain the ability to propose marriage or request a lover relationship.
Complete the “Trial of Love” to Formalize the Relationship
If the NPC accepts your proposal, the “Trial of Love” quest begins.
Completing it within one in-game year and reporting back will finalize the relationship.
The Player Can Now Have Children Through Marriage
Just like NPCs, the player can now have children after marriage,
adding further depth to personal lineage and long-term role-play.

Nation Founding Expanded: Independent Factions Can Now Found Their Own Kingdom
Previously, to found a nation, the player had to:
Serve under an existing kingdom
Rise in rank and obtain a territory
Start a rebellion
This multi-step process has now been significantly redesigned.
Found a Nation Directly by Capturing an Unaligned Territory
If the player is the leader of an independent faction and has a certain amount of fame,
you can now capture an unaligned territory and found a nation without belonging to any kingdom.
This enables new forms of storytelling, such as:
A bandit chief rising to become a monarch
A lone wanderer accumulating power to establish a new kingdom

Improved Officer Recruitment: Join Factions Even Without Territories
In the demo, joining a faction required
applying from one of that faction’s owned territories.
In the Early Access version, this restriction has been removed.
You can now meet directly with a faction leader and request to become an officer.
You Can Now Join Factions That Do Not Own Territories
Groups such as bandit clans or merchant guilds—previously impossible to join—
can now accept the player as a member through direct negotiation.
This greatly expands the player’s career paths and role-play possibilities.

“Technology Research” Added to Royal Advisement
For players who choose to serve as a vassal,
a new advisement option, “Technology Research,” has been added.
Your suggested research will influence national development, military strength,
and the broader evolution of the world—adding fresh depth to strategic play.
Summary: A World Where Players Can Choose a Life as Deep as Any NPC’s
With the addition of romance, nation founding, and officer recruitment,
the player’s personal story and role-play options have greatly expanded,
allowing you to truly become an active participant in the world’s history.
This concludes the four-part series of Early Access update highlights.
These articles have covered only the major improvements—many more minor adjustments and refinements have also been implemented.
We hope you will experience these changes firsthand.
Early Access begins on December 10—please look forward to it.
