Major Quality-of-Life Improvements Across the Entire Game
In the Early Access version, we’ve made a wide range of updates—
from small quality-of-life tweaks to balance adjustments that directly affect gameplay decisions—
all aimed at improving the overall pacing and feel of the game.
Sandbox Mode Is Now Available from the Start
We received many requests asking for more freedom in character customization.
In Campaign mode, the protagonist’s gender and appearance are fixed, so changing this would require large-scale system modifications.
As an alternative, we decided to make Sandbox Mode—previously unlocked only after meeting certain conditions—available right from the start.
In Sandbox Mode, you can freely choose your protagonist from a variety of randomly generated nations, factions, and characters.
This allows for:
Freely selecting gender and appearance
Starting the game as a king
Beginning with a character who has exceptionally high stats
and much more—giving players expanded freedom in role-play from the very beginning.
Please note: Tutorials are skipped in Sandbox Mode.
For first-time players, we recommend starting with the Campaign.

More Natural Interaction Between Economy and Reputation
We’ve also improved how reputation changes based on food trading within each domain.
Hoarding food decreases your reputation
Buying out a domain’s food stock will lower your reputation with that domain.
If your reputation drops too far, neighboring domains will also begin to view you negatively.
These penalties are long-term and indirect—for example:
Information becomes harder to obtain in taverns
Tax revenue will be reduced if you someday rule that domain
Selling food to starving domains increases your reputation
Conversely, selling food to domains suffering from shortages improves your reputation.
You can strengthen their internal economy or role-play as a benevolent outlaw helping the weak.
Your actions now influence the world in a more natural and meaningful way.
Improved Map Usability: Zoom with the Mouse Wheel
You can now zoom in and out on the world map using the mouse wheel.
This makes navigation and situational awareness far smoother.

Tavern & Domain Events Now Trigger Manually
In the demo, entering a tavern or domain would force a conversation event to begin, affecting the pacing.
In Early Access, events now trigger only when you choose the “!” icon, giving you control over when to engage.
This allows for smoother play when:
You want to move quickly
You only need to complete a quick task
Guild Quests Can Now Be Reported from Anywhere
You no longer need to return to the domain where you accepted the quest.
Reports can be submitted from any domain, reducing travel time and improving exploration flow.
Simplified Entry into Domains
Previously, approaching a domain triggered a confirmation dialog.
Now, you can simply press E when near a domain to enter.
This reduces unnecessary inputs and makes movement more seamless.

Summary: Many Improvements That Respect Your Time
In the Early Access update, we focused on:
Smoother gameplay pacing
Systems that naturally reflect player choices
Numerous UI/UX refinements
Together, these changes form a broad improvement to the game’s overall ease of play.
By reducing friction in movement and interaction,
we hope players can focus more deeply on the evolving world and the lives of its many NPCs.
Next time, we’ll introduce:
“New Features: Romance, Nation Founding, and Officer Recruitment.”
Please look forward to it!
