Based on feedback and observations of people playing SNØ this last week we have made this small patch to address a couple of issues - mainly an issue with our implementation of multiplier growth rate - along with a couple of smaller tweaks and fixes!
Here are the things that are new in SNØ 1.0.00.67
Changes:
- 🌟 Base multiplier growth rate now factors in progression down the mountain as well as time. Max multiplier growth rate by time is same as before - as long as you don't linger
- 🪂 Swoop-points can not be lost anymore (no more *clonk* sound)! Instead you will be awarded bonus points for a successful swoop-up*
- 💨 Gliding close to ground now whirls up snow. This also indicates you are close enough for scoring swoop-points
- ⌨️ New controller glyphs for lean input, indicating both WASD and arrow keys can be used
Fixes:
- 🔦 No more flashing lights bug during pitch black night on Mac!
- 🐇 Rabbit trails updated with correct trail material - glows brighter, making them easier to pursue
- 🌌 Glider lift will start to decrease at very high altitudes, preventing death out of thin air
Hope you like these changes! If you encounter any more issues in the mountains, please report them on our Discord or in the Steam forums 🤙
Best
