The race toward version 1.0 starts today! Pretend Cars Racing 2 already has an updated demo available to try, but the most exciting news is that we can now announce its Early Access launch on March 17, with the goal of seeing the checkered flag before October 2026.
Although the game is already content-complete—with 80 vehicles and 40 tracks available from day one—there are still some features that need improvement and community feedback. That’s why the game will spend a short period in Early Access, aiming for a full release between August and October 2026.
Players who purchase the game in March will have access to championships, global leaderboards, and multiplayer races with all the tracks and vehicles planned for version 1.0.
Throughout Early Access, the game will add a rewind feature, a track creator with Steam Workshop support, customizable championships, and a story mode, along with ongoing improvements and adjustments based on community feedback.
