Hello H-Hour Community,
We hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the patch we put up on Steam this past Saturday. If you haven’t seen the patch notes you can check them out HERE.
We were informed of a couple quick issues that we’ll look to rectify shortly:
- The LMG in armory does not seem to be connected to the base values (likely as was added later) so all indicators show red for comparison
- Icon title in respawn when you pick up a weapon is showing correct weapon icon and title, but in one life, if you pick up a weapon, icon shows new weapon but title is staying on your loadout weapon name.
We’re also reviewing what options are available to us to get the workshop beta in at least some of the community’s hands. More to follow on that.
When will the next patch be? We aren’t 100% sure at the moment. We want to take a look at the workshop beta timeline before publishing a hard date for the next update.
I think it is important to mention for those who are new to H-Hour or not forums regulars, that our community has provided tools both to help fellow gamers get together and meet each other, to provide information or just for organized feedback to the studio. I encourage everyone to consider using these tools or surveys.
I want to personally thank those members of the community who go above and beyond to help their fellow gamers. There have been many examples so forgive me if I miss you but here are the most current community offerings.
We have community updates that are provided by Spab Rog and give his unique perspective in translating activities in the Studio or game to how it affects the community. Here is an example.
There is also a survey that was created by Evil to try to get a better understanding of community wants on game features. For the surveys, we would love to see more participation so we get a better sense of the consensus on things like weapons. I can confirm that we used this survey result for feedback on our most recent weapons tuning so if you want to be heard, completing the survey is a good use of your time. Here is a direct link to the Weapons Survey.
Evil and some other members got together to create a Discord channel that would allow for better communications between members, both for gaming and getting to know each other. For information on Discord, check out this information.
More next Monday!
