The final version of digital Escape Tales: The Awakening will provide not only a deep narrative story and lots of challenging puzzles, but also many various locations that will transport you into different realities. Not to mention a few different endings of the whole game - each based on the choices you make that will make you question your morals and personal beliefs.
LANGUAGES
💬 As you’ve probably seen on our social media channels, the final version of Escape Tales: The Awakening will provide 6 distinct languages with which you’ll be able to dive deep into the story and feel every aspect of it. Apart from English, you'll be able to play the final version of the game in French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Polish. 💬
LOCATIONS
🌍 Up until now you’ve seen only one location provided in the demo available on Steam - The Basement. Do you know that the full version of the game will consist of as many as 8 locations - each with different vibes, objects, animations, and puzzles? Take a look at two more - however, we won’t yet reveal what place they have chronologically in the game or how they’re named. Play the full game to see and feel for yourself, but for now, take a look at them. 🌍
PUZZLES
🧩 More locations and languages are not the only amazing features we had hidden for you. One of the most important elements of the game are puzzles that drive the story towards, help you explore locations, and allow you to find interesting items (that later also may be used). In the final version you’ll be able to solve as many as 26 different puzzles! Each location will give you at least two of them - and every one consists of at least two cards (up to seven!). Get ready for challenging your brain and eyes to mutual cooperation. 🧩
ITEMS
🧸 As stated above, throughout the game you’ll come across many different items to hide in the inventory. Some of them will be of use to go further, others will function as a necessary part of the puzzle, and the rest will allow you to explore the location and see for yourself the deep narrative elements so that you could really step into Sam’ shoes, even for a while. On your path you’ll collect almost 40 various items! 🧸
ENDINGS
🙌 Some endings are happy, some not so much. In this game, you’ll be the only one deciding about it based on the path you take and the choices you make. Prepare yourself to really get in touch with the emotions and different perspectives and question every little step - you’re the writer of Sam’s story! In the final version of the game, there are 9 various endings to the story - be ready to experience every one of them. 🙌
With that in mind, we hope now you’re waiting even more for the game premiere on October 24, 2024. 🗓️ Mark that date in your calendar and get ready for the last Dev Diary in two weeks. Till the next read! 👋
