Beta v10
Features:
- Completely reworked Airplane Upgrades: now located in a new 'Policies and Upgrades' window, with stronger and more unique bonuses.
- Completely reworked Airport Upgrades: now follows a skill tree like Airplane Upgrades. Costs miles instead of Puffin Tokens.
- Airline Policies: located in the 'Policies and Upgrades' window, allows you to specialize your airline.
- Autosaves! Configure how often you want them (or turn them off) in the settings menu under 'Other'.
- Note that there is a KNOWN BUG with autosaves where you will not get the Quarter Goal Accomplished Event (which gives you the option of miles, Puffin Tokens, etc.) when loading an autosave. I am working on a fix for this however it will require major changes behind the scene. Since autosaves are not a critical feature I am leaving this in place so that everything else can be tested.
- Creative Mode with infinite miles and tokens, and planes build instantly.
- Can now see how profitable a route is with tooltips and new Profitability mapmode.
Changes:
- The "How about some planes?" event in the Quarter Goal Accomplished Event has been buffed and will now give more high-value planes much more frequently.
- Quit to desktop now asks if you want to save any unsaved changes first.
- Second quarter goal is now always either Unlock New City or Well Served Routes, so that it is easier to get established.
- Larger planes now take up less fleet capacity, making them more efficient.
- Fleet capacity is now easier to get, and the penalties for exceeding it are steeper.
- The higher your reputation, the more likely you are to get an extra Puffin Token during the new fiscal quarter in Classic mode.
- Revamped Airplane Marketplace
- New Puffin Token icon.
- UI buttons now colored for easier differentiation.
- Added expanding animation to some buttons. Let me know if you feel this is annoying.
- Airport Icons now require more passengers before they start animating.
- Reworked the Plane Improvement Event to now just give you a Puffin Token, and be less common.
- Now receive more Miles from the quarterly goal options.
- Now can receive only up to two Puffin Tokens from the quarterly goal options.
- Average trip length is now more lenient when affecting your reputation. The "zero point" (above which it decreases your reputation, and below which it increaeses) has been moved from 2.5 to 3.0.
Bugfixes:
- Airplanes in hangar were not counting towards total fleet capacity used for calculating upkeep cost.
