Fixes
Fixes player frequently dismounting the rowing position when in rowboats.
Increased both mass and buoyancy to attempt to improve rowboat handling.
Note that rowboats are still pretty unpleasant to use. I'm working on it -- the water system doesn't scale well to very small hulls.
Improved the error save tracking to hopefully narrow down some issues.
Fixed strange echoey environmental audio on the Xebec and Saettia.
Fixed an issue where rapidly shifting between audio zones would cause audio to become stuck in one state until reload.
Fixed an issue where some ship assets would not be properly disposed for inactive ships, causing increased memory load.
Simplified colliders along the breakwater ruin on Tathun's Pit to reduce odds of becoming stuck on complex geometry.
Altered some ship scripts to reduce unnecessary method calls.
Changes:
Substantially increased the effectiveness of the Saettia rudder. It can now turn a circle in weeks rather than years.
Moved cargo manifests on the Caelean Junk so that they remain accessible when fully loaded with cargo.
Mooring ropes are now persistent.
Save structures for some data points improved to reduce filesize and complexity.
Reworked compound ship zones to better support concave shapes. (i.e. stepped shapes such as on the Caelean Junk). This will also reduce cases where exterior spaces retain interior audio.
Changed the exterior ladders on the Caelean Junk to be teleport types. While less interactive, they should perform much more smoothly, and reduce the odds of getting stuck in the tight geometry spaces present on the upper decks.
Made numerous small adjustments to the Caelean junk model, and fixed some UV issues.
Removed text prompts while interacting with steering wheel.
New Content
Added an overlay map to the steering interface. (Currently only for ships steered via wheel.) This is to address the issue of binnacle compasses being difficult and inconvenient to view (or absent entirely.) To use this press 's' (or whatever input your negative vertical axis is bound to) and an overlay compass will be visible.
Cannons aboard the Saettia can now be fired. ('n'). Note that this is entirely cosmetic at the moment. No projectiles are actually fired, and no resources are consumed. This will eventually move into a functioning system -- but there's a lot of work to do before there's any gameplay to be had.
