We will shortly be releasing a new patch to Perfect Golf. The focus of this release has been performance and bug fixing. Here is a list of what is included
Courses
This release includes the release of The Black Swan course. An additional course will also be released soon
Upgrades and Performance
- Significant FPS increase accross the board and overall performance improvements
- SOME Support for 4G Ram (work in progress not everyone will be able to load all courses but most of our testers on 4Gig were able to play all courses
- Improved adaptive lighting
- DX 11 supported with fall back to DX 9 support as well
Bug Fixes
- Fairway roll fix
- Putting fixes ( Made sure the putt breaks less while in the initial skid phase so ball should not jump left or right as much until it enters the roll phase)
- Memory leak fixes caused by UI and U5 upgrade
- Minor Visual fixes
- Fixed Ball getting stuck at bottom of hole with player club buried in terrain
- Fixed Tree Collisions in Hero mesh trees like 16th at Sawgrass
- Fixed bug that caused pins to be planted slightly under terrain
- Fixed Dynamic White out Sky Bug
- Fixed Bug where StrokePlay Handicapping did not work
- Partially fixed offline mode (2 bugs remain see below)
- Fixed Gameplay so if ball gets stuck at bottom of cup game will at least continue.
- Fixed a major bug in the UI that caused resume games to fail and memory leaks following clicking of End Game button or finishing a game
Known Issues
The following issues are known to still exist but we wanted to get the performance improvements out to you
- Camera can still go underground on occasion
- Tee markers not being placed in correct position when random tee placement within designated area is used
- A small flash of the course terrain can occur right at the end of course load before being placed on tee box Again thanks for your patience as we continue to make Perfect Golf better.
