Hi everyone!
It feels strange to say this — but the release is going smoother than we expected :)
Everything seemed fine and tested, but we couldn’t shake the feeling that the launch would uncover some serious issues.
Fortunately, things are going well. We haven’t found too many new bugs, and the balance problems aren’t as bad as they could’ve been.
That said, we’re reading absolutely everything you write and reacting as fast as we can. We’ve already prepared several gameplay improvements, as well as fixes for bugs and errors.
Progress will be faster!
Yes — we’ve heard you. With certain playstyles, it could feel like you’re stuck in place for too long. Now, kitchen expansions, new furniture, and other key progression items will appear more often.
Play for another day or two — and share your thoughts in the Steam forum or on Discord. We’ll fine-tune the progression even more.
New options for voice chat
Right now, distance affects how well you can hear each other. It’s meant to make the game more fun — but for some players, it’s distracting. At the same time, they want to keep the funny “rat voices,” which Discord can’t do :)
We’ve added an extra setting — now you can toggle both the rat voices and distance effect on or off. Just make sure everyone in the game uses the same settings for it to work properly.
What else?
— In Friendsloop mode, you can now move the same character between different difficulty levels.
— Improved character movement and fixed getting stuck in objects.
— Fixed a bug where you could pick three identical cards in Friendsloop mode.
— Fixed a number of other bugs and errors — not listing them all here, that would take forever :)
Huge thanks to everyone who bought the game — and an extra thank-you for your Steam reviews. They mean a lot to us.
Let’s stay in touch — more patches are coming, and we’ll keep improving the game!
