Adventurers, it has been a long time since our last Steam post, and you deserve a real one. Here is where Mithrall stands, what we have been building in the quiet, and what arrives on June 15.

Mithrall is not a dead game
Let us say it plainly: Mithrall is very much alive. The team has grown, our capabilities have grown, and we made a deliberate choice to go heads-down and rebuild rather than rush another playtest. Some systems that played well in our last test are being deepened. Others are being rebuilt from the ground up, because Mithrall deserves its best version before we scale to 15,000-player wars.
Mark June 15
Something arrives on June 15. We will not spoil it here, but it is the moment we have been building toward. Watch the teaser, and wishlist so it reaches you the moment it drops.

We have a new home
Our brand new official website is live, with the trailer, the world, and the ten pillars of the game all in one place.
A big direction change: Mithrall is going third person
One of the most important calls we have made is moving the camera from first person to third person. We were first-person purists, then we got honest about what makes a game like this feel its best, and we chose one great camera over two mediocre ones. We wrote a full dev blog on exactly why.
More dev blogs to dig into
More are on the way. They all live on our devlog: anklebreaker-studio.com/devlog
Go deeper: the Mithrall Insider Program
We are opening the Mithrall Insider Program, an application-based, NDA-protected program for a small group of our most engaged players. Insiders get early hands-on access during build and rebuild phases, and a real voice in the game's direction. If you want to shape Mithrall at a deeper level, watch the website and our Discord for applications.
New here? This is Mithrall
An open-world survival MMO set in the golden age of dwarves. Build cities. Wage 15,000-player wars. Tame the deep. We took what we loved from Rust's raw resource war, Albion's player-driven economy, and WoW's massive cooperative scale, and forged something new.
Join the forge
Thank you for sticking with us through the quiet. The forge never went cold. See you on June 15.
