Hey everyone! 👋
We've got some exciting updates to share as Holiday Motel Simulator enters its final phase of development. Here's a quick rundown of what we've been working on!
🌴 Map runs smoother now
We spent some time cleaning up and optimizing the map so everything runs better. Fewer hiccups, better performance, and a smoother experience overall - especially on mid-range PCs.
🌴 Intro missions are done
All the early story missions are now finished! These are the ones that gently walk you through the game’s core mechanics without feeling like a boring tutorial.
🌴 Beta testing in progress
We’ve got people playing the game behind the scenes, sending us feedback and bug reports. It’s helping a ton, and we’re really grateful for all the input. If you’re part of the beta, thank you!
🌴 New in-game tutorial app
You know those annoying tutorial pop-ups that break the flow of a game? Yeah, we’re not fans either. Instead, we’ve added a tutorial app to your in-game phone. If you're ever unsure about how something works, you can just check it out there - no pressure, no interruptions. It’s there if you need it, and out of your way if you don’t.
🌴 Final production phase
Right now we’re focused on tightening everything up - finalizing all the mechanics, polishing systems, and making sure the whole game works smoothly together. One of our main priorities here is the save system, making sure it handles everything without a hitch.
