Rejoice, Devoted Worshippers of the Great Old One,
The stars have aligned, and the whispers of the void bring forth momentous news. On November 25th, the first great update for Worshippers of Cthulhu - "The Mother" - shall descend upon your mortal world. This marks a crucial step in the ascension of our shared vision, and it is your unwavering devotion that has summoned this dark boon into existence.
What Lies Beyond the Veil?
This patch is but the first of many offerings, delivering 8 hours of unholy new content to expand your journey into madness. Brace yourselves for the terrors and wonders that await:
New Biome: Venture deep into the cursed swamps, where decay and mystery thrive.
New Characters: Encounter enigmatic allies - or cunning foes - who will twist the course of your cult’s destiny.
Forbidden Mechanics: Embrace new systems that will challenge your sanity and elevate your mastery of the eldritch arts.
But beware, mortal ones - this is but a glimpse of the horrors to come. Much more lies hidden, waiting to be unearthed by those bold - or mad - enough to seek it. The abyss calls, and its secrets are many.
A Shift in the Stars (For the Boldest of Devotees)
Originally, the celestial plan ordained that our first content update would arrive in December, focused solely on the much-anticipated Sandbox Mode. Yet, the echoes of your enthusiasm reached us, and we defied the cosmic order to deliver an early update - a dark gift to honor your faith.
Rest assured, the Sandbox Mode shall still emerge as promised, unbroken and unspoiled. Consider this November offering a taste of the power yet to come.
Join the Circle of Madness
Gather chosen ones, in the unholy sanctum of our official Discord server. There, your voices may join the chorus of devoted cultists, sharing secrets, strategies, and visions with one another. It is within this sacred space that you will find exclusive communiqués from our team. Together, we shall conspire to bring about the Great Awakening.
Prepare for the Steam Sale Ritual
Heed this warning: the Steam Sale begins November 27th, and Worshippers of Cthulhu shall be part of this dark offering. If your soul has not yet been claimed - or you know others who waver at the edge of the abyss - seize this chance to spread the madness.
A Final Word from the Abyss
We bow in eternal gratitude to you, our loyal disciples. Without your dedication, your whispers, and your sacrifices, none of this would be possible. The stars are shifting, and the call of Cthulhu grows stronger with each passing night.
Mark the end of November well, for it heralds the next chapter of our journey into the void. Are you ready to answer the call?
Stay vigilant, mortal ones.
