Hello!
Welcome to another edition of AM Devlog! AM Devlogs are a weekly update about Adventurer Manager's development process to maintain our philosophy of transparency and the importance of player feedback.
As stated earlier in the week, our lead programmer had wrist surgery shortly after the EA release and is on the road to recovery. That being said, because he's awesome and is now probably part robot, he's still managed to update the game twice with small updates for our most requested changes. These were small changes like speeding up the walk time in dungeons as well as removing level-scaling, but they were definitely important and it's all because of you, the player's, vital feedback! Now on to the good stuff of what's coming down the pipe!
Adventurer Manager is very item centric and because we have a ton of items (seriously we have over 15 different weapon types), there are often holes in equipment as your party levels. To counteract those gaps we are implementing the Blacksmith in our next big update! Here's how it will work. Every item of a rarity up to legendary can be salvaged for a similar rarity resource that can be used to craft randomized items of that rarity. So for instance, if you salvage a few uncommons you'll be able to make a new uncommon, but not anything higher. Basically you'll need to salvage legendaries to make legendaries! You will be able to make all item types and the blacksmith will need to be leveled up to increase the tier of the gear being made. Okay so that's how completely randomized items are crafted, but how do I get the stats I want on crafted gear? Gems! Gems will have a chance of dropping off every encounter and they will be of a specific Attribute (str, dex, con, etc.) When you go to craft an item with your salvaged rarity resources you can use a gem to signify that as definitive Attribute to roll on that item. The rest of the modifiers on that item will be randomized. When it goes live you will be able to set 2 Attributes as a maximum with 2 Gems, and again the rest of the stats will be randomized. There will be multiple rarities of gems that increase the Attributes base value when it is rolled. We are really excited about this addition as it's been sitting at about 75% completeness for a few months just waiting for the right time to go in!

Also one of our Artists, Amy Martins, has just completed the new town square UI! It looks amazing and I hope you think so too! This is just one of the many ongoing UI changes that are underway to replace many of the dull menus with beautifully crafted ones that really fit the style of AM.

One of the other things you're going to see soon is the unlocking of the other parties much, much earlier in the game. By around level 10 you will have all 4 parties unlocked! With this we are also going to unlock all of the base 8 classes alongside the party unlocks! Oh wait, did I just say 8? Yes! The Barbarian, Paladin, and Monk are going to enter the game very, very soon. We are finalizing their skills and skill icon art. With the unlocking of the parties earlier and with all of the classes and their unique skill trees, we're really excited about all the unique combinations that will be used!
Finally, probably the biggest update we have coming your way is the extension of the level cap from 21 to 33! This extension will feature more story, 4 brand new dungeons with new monsters, minibosses, and bosses for each of them! These dungeons also feature more monsters than any others thus far! This level increase is also going to unlock 2 new races, the Giants and the Dwarves! Below is a preview of one of the new areas, the Orc Camp!

Well that's all for this week's edition of the AM Devlog. Stay tuned next week for more updates!
Happy Adventuring!
