(This is part 2 of a two part Devlog, Part 1 is located here)
Part 2
For a while you may have been wondering why 'poorly' statted items have been dropping. Those Intelligence Bardiches seems pretty pointless eh? Well, with the University you will be able to take Courses in some cross-class abilities! The plans have not been finalized at this point so I will not comment further at the moment but it will allow you to make a Battlemage or a Spellthief or some other flavor of cross-class. In addition to that, there will be new abilities that will only be acquirable through the University. These include things like Double Attack, Riposte, and Parry. Also, you can take Courses in specific Monster Types to specialize your Adventurer against your favored enemies. At the end of those trees there will more than likely be a special ability to gain to use against monsters of that type. Some examples of some of the Courses that Adventurers will be able to enroll in are: Attribute bonuses, bonus damage with specific weapon types, bonus armor with specific armor types, bonus damage against monster types (plant, beast, undead, etc.), spell bonuses, and many, many more.

Early University Attribute Tree
The University is a system we're incredibly excited about is the first of many upcoming management features that we have been keeping secret for a while as we worked out the details. It will be added to over time as even more features are added to AM. We really want you to become invested in your Adventurers and be all the more sad when they die gruesome deaths!
The next major content build will most likely contain the skill updates and after that we will begin introducing pieces of the University along with the Rest system outlined in Devlog #1. The University will start simple with just Attributes but will be greatly expanded over time. As always though, these projections are subject to change as certain roadblocks come to light.
Thank you so for your continued interest in Adventurer Manager as we try to make the best damn RPG/Management Sim you've ever played!
Happy Adventuring!
