Hello loyal early adopters :) This week we are bringing you part 1 of a series of combat overhauls. This patch introduces all 8 classes to the game and sn entirely new skill system. Expect balance passes to occur periodically as EA continues.
As promised there will be a required wipe for this build.
Combat 2.0
- All Adventurers now start with a basic attack and 1 skill point to train into a tier one skill.
- Every level, Adventurers gain a skill point to invest in their skill tree.
- Passive abilities are unlocked at levels 10/20/30/40 and each of the 3 main skill lines allow 5/5 points invested into each skill.
- Adventurers now have 100 Energy to activate skills, use it wisely!
- Other combat additions will be introduced in coming updates.
Gameplay
- Crafting recipes have had their XP gain adjusted.
- The Dwarfia and Giantia NPC have released the Jester from his dialog duties.
- All dungeons should now have their own unique music tracks!
- Some previously existing music tracks were adjusted.
- The Imp is now reachable in the Druid Grove.
- Max Energy, Energy On Hit, and Energy Regen stats now roll on legendary items.
- Weapon Damage is now shown in the Character Sheet instead of Ranged/Melee to be more in line with tooltips and adding stats to Adventurers.
- Arcane and Holy Spellpower were combined into one stat: Spellpower. Based on the class, INT or WIS now grants Spellpower making it easier to know what stats to adjust (new skill tooltips) for Rangers, Clerics, Wizards and Paladins.
- Dual Wield is now in the game for Barbarians, Monks, Warriors and Rogues. This is an adjustable chance for the offhand weapon to make an attack on any skill use or normal attack.
- Filtering for equipment just got easier. Each Adventurer now saves filters and automatically filters equippable items.
- Inventory is now much easier to sort with smaller icons and roman numerals to indicate tier and a number at the bottom right to indicate iLVL.
- Selling in the shop is now easier with a new smart filter by rarity.
- MOUSE WHEEL! Many windows are now scrollable with the mouse wheel... welcome to 1995! :)
Art
- The Castle now has its own scene! From here you can use the Blacksmith, upgrade the Castle, and visit the Graveyard.
- The Graveyard now has its own scene as well! It functions the same as before and expect some fun epitaphs to enter sometime soon.
- The Town has received some animations, expect more improvements soon.
Other
- An entirely new save and load system has been rolled into the game. This will make cloud saving, multiple saves, and Ironman mode possible in the near future!
- Lots of minor bug fixes and tweaks.
