Early Access Release!

Hello action fans!

First up, we're out! Woo! It's unbelievable, but we finally made it. Early Access is our Chopper and by crom did we Get To It!

To celebrate, we released a new trailer that shows off even more madcap action, more guns, the gun shop, our first boss Gordon, as well as - for the eagle-eyed amongst you a few sorta-secret mechanics.

Did you spot them all? There's the revival of downed team mates in a distinctly Predator style and then to balance things out - and give mischievous players something to do - you can melee each other in co-op, and grab the cash that you all drop :D

Also, we need to make some announcements - I'll try to get an FAQ up in the community as soon as possible too.

CONTROLS
Tango Fiesta is designed primarily for play with a controller, and a wired/wirless Xbox 360 controller specifically.

We've added keyboard and mouse control, but some people are experiencing issues, including:

  • Inablility to move their character up or down (but left and right are fine)
  • Inability to shoot (a slight hindrance in a game about shooting).
  • Inability to advance pat the Mission Intro soverlay screen
  • Unresponsive controls during gameplay

We're aware of these issues and are working on fixing them as soon as possible. If you encounter anything at all, please do let us know in the forums.

ARE YOU ON MAC?
We've encountered a good few issues on Mac, sadly, including compatibility, crashes and control issues. So far we kow of some fixes, and the rest we're working on for the first patch.

  • Just like Windows players, we recommend you use a pad. Download & install the 'Tattiebogle' drivers here for the best results!
  • The game doesn't grab focus on Mac after launch, so you'll have to click the game window with your mouse once to get it working ok.
  • We've also heard reports that sometimes the game loses focus on clicks, and rest assured if you persist for a fwe clicks it'll be fine.
  • If you have any Android File Transfer installed/processes running, then unplugging a pad causes the Mac to hang.

Again I'll say that we're working really hard to fix these issues before anything else (well... on top of making the game more stable in online) so hold on to your hats because we should be updating with fixes pretty regularly over the coming days and weeks.

Finally a message from the team; we're all super proud that so many of you are enjoyng Tango Fiesta so much, and we can't wait to hear what you think about it - we're here to make it better in all the ways that you want.

Hugs,

The Tango Fiesta Team.
