Depth: Maintenance Week Of Jan 5th

A few more bugfixes and some performance improvements. This should improve the latency experienced by some players. We have also identified further areas for (significant) improvements in this area - and will be able to bring these live in updates shortly.

This is now live - if you're having problems downloading it, restart Steam to force an update check

UI

  • Devil's Head wins added to Depth Profile and will now start counting.
  • Team selection buttons in the Play menus now stay in-sync.
  • Updated some controller button names to match manufacturer guidelines.

Maps

  • Fixed various collision issues / god spots on maps. If we missed any please make a post in the Bug Reports subforum.
  • Changed organization of Depth packages. This will cause issues in existing custom maps; we shouldn't have to make changes like this in the future.
  • Fixed some breakables that weren't breaking properly in Devil's Head.

Sound

  • Sea Mine properly plays arming sound.

Other

  • Various Server optimizations for improved performance.
  • Bots no longer spawn for disconnected players in 'No Bots' mode.
  • Smoothed out shark pitch when running along surface of water.
  • Fixed shark starting evolution point not being counted.
  • Fixed situation where sometimes a leaving player wouldn't be replaced with a bot.
