Hello Awesome People,
We've updated the default branch to fix the invisible UI issues that a few of our users were experiencing.
We've also updated the experimental "nextversion" branch because it's time to start experimenting and preparing to develop awesome new features and improvements for FaceRig 1.1 :D
You can find both of the changelogs below.
FaceRig v1.0 (build 585 Holotech Studios - July 9 2015) - default branch
- fixed missing UI issues for machines with multiple GPUs
FaceRig v1.002 (build 585 Holotech Studios - July 9 2015) - nextversion only
- added checks to see if user's GPU supports DX11, if not the application will exit gracefully and will suggest you to switch to DX9 mode from the launcher
- tweaked props default placement
- re-integrated ULSee 1.1 tracker (warning: when the tracker does not detect a face, FaceRig's process will spike the CPU usage)
If you are wondering about how to use the experimental "nextversion" branch here are the steps:
- Open Steam Client. Go to Library -> Software
- Right mouse click on FaceRig -> Properties
- Go to BETAS tab, click in the "Select the beta you would like to opt into:" drop down, select "nextversion"
- Close window. The FaceRig program will update to the "nextversion" branch.

Have an awesome weekend,
