FaceRig 1.0 & the last few bugs

Hello awesome people,

As many of you might know, our exit from Early Access and the release of FaceRig 1.0 was set to take place at the end of June provided that there were no upsetting bugs left.

However, due to feedback we've gotten from our users, we're going to delay version 1.0 a few more days, for July 7, in order to solve the issues that you've flagged for us in the latest updates.

At this point, we have a couple of critical issues we are working on fixing. Those of you who are using webcams set to a high resolution (above 720p) are currently experiencing high CPU usage and this is something we are trying to remedy ASAP. Please be advised that until we deploy an update to fix this, it is recommended that you use a lower resolution for your webcam device (640x480). You can adjust this by going to General Options (after enabling the Advanced UI) -> Devices and selecting a lower resolution.

Additionally, a few users have been reporting issues with the newly installed FaceRig Virtual Camera driver, which is resulting in their actual (physical) webcam device not being properly initialized by default in FaceRig. This has been posted as a "known issue" and we've pinned it on our discussion boards so that you can find a quick solution if this is happening to you.

These issues, along with a few other smaller ones are the ones we are aiming to solve before the 7th of June at which point we will officially call this version FaceRig 1.0 :)

Have an awesome week,
The FaceRig Team
