This contest is open to any Live2D avatar creator, no purchase required! (though if you do have FaceRig and the Live2D module, you are eligible for an extra special prize given out by Live2D).
If you want to read the full version of the contest rules (with legal provisions) you can do so here, in English: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3yQ7NfJbn4JVi1IUmNBWTI4ZFk&usp=sharing

Anyone who has created or is willing to create an original Live2D model compatible with the FaceRig avatar specs. Keep in mind that most of the contest rewards are various FaceRig license codes, so to actually enjoy the spoils you will need to have (or make) a Steam account, and to have access to a Windows PC capable of running FaceRig.
How many winners will there be?
10 winners plus 2 Live2D Special Prize winners (12 in total) .
How many prizes will there be?
10 regular prizes and 2 Live2D Special Prizes (one prize per person).
What are the Prizes ?
Each “regular” winner will receive approximately $80 worth of FaceRig codes (US dollars). The list of codes the winners can choose from: FaceRig Classic ($14.99) , FaceRig Pro DLC($ 64.99), FaceRig Halloween 2014 Avatars($ 4.99) , FaceRig Halloween Avatars 2015 ($ 4.99), FaceRig Live2D Module ($ 3.99) and FaceRig Winter Holidays Avatars 2015 ($ 4.99). Each Live2D Special Prize winner will receive a license of the Live2D Cubism Editor PRO - indie edition (worth $240), and a bonus FaceRig PRO DLC($ 64.99).
How to enter the race for one of the 10 awesome prizes:
Create your own unique 2D avatar in the Live2D Cubism Editor (Free version including 60-day PRO trial available to anyone), make a video of it moving (at least 15 seconds long), post it on YouTube, and submit the link to that video as a reply to this announcement. That’s pretty much it! For more details see the “FAQ and rules” section below.
Special Eligibility terms for the Live2D Special Prize:
To be eligible for the Live2D Special Prize, the movie showcasing your submission has to be captured from FaceRig, and the driving face needs to be visible (you also have to appear in the webcam feed). To that end you’ll need to use a screen or window capture software. There are plenty of good free ones out there like OBS or the evaluation version of FRAPS.
The avatar from that video needs to also be posted on the FaceRig Steam Workshop, functional, when submissions close (we need to be able to download it from the Steam workshop and play with the avatar ourselves).

FAQ and Rules overview:
Can I win a regular prize AND a Live2D Special Prize?
No, if you win a Live2D Special prize you cannot also win one of the 10 normal prizes.
Is fanart ok?
No, due to legal reasons the avatar has to classify as an original creation - no copyrighted content. An exception can be made if you do have official permission from the copyright holder (though you will be responsible for getting us proof of that permission before the contest submissions period is over).
May I post a friend’s work ?
No, unless he/she officially mandates you for specifically for this task; in this case, if this submission wins, the winner will be your creator friend, not you, and you will be responsible of ensuring a channel of communication between us and the original creator.
May I submit more than one avatar ?
Yes, but you can only win once.
May I submit an avatar that I have built for FaceRig before the contest started ?
Yes, provided that avatar was not submitted in other FaceRig or Live2D contests before.
May I submit a 3D avatar (not Live2D) ?
No, this contest is for Live2D avatars/models only, created with the Live2D Cubism editor.
Does the video have to be on YouTube ?
We prefer YouTube, but any video sharing site that allow the video to be seen worldwide without a login also work. If we cannot see the video without making an account or jumping through technical hoops, your entry will be disqualified. (For instance NicoNico is not okay, as it requires a login to view the video. Territory-restricted video services are also not okay)
What if I do not have a valid Steam account that can post on the Steam forums ? (for instance a freshly made Steam account, with no purchased products)
If you do not have an activated Steam account with posting privileges, then you can submit the video link to info[at]facerig[dot]com and we will post it on Steam on your behalf - just tell us it is for the contest.
Who is judging?
After the contest ends, Holotech Studios staff will pick the ten “regular” winners, and the two Live2D Special Prize winners will be picked by Live2D.
How long will the submission period be?
The Contest begins at 4:00 p.m. GMT+2 zone on January 22, 2016 and ends at 4:00 p.m. GMT+2 February 19, 2016. Roughly, about a month.
When will the winners be announced?
Judging will last one week and the winners will be announced on February 26, 4:00 p.m GMT+2.
