Introducing Monsters of Mican: Vitreous Expansion.*
Featuring three brand new dungeons, all accessible from Albright Outpost:
-
Spinewood Forest - home to the Fairy Queen Bryxialla, this dungeon teems with traps and creatures that want nothing more than to put you in the ground to fertilize the soil. Beware the many illusions and foggy spots in the forest, lest you lose your way...
The Pipeline- brave the stench as you trudge through toxic muck to receive the unique bounty offered by the denizens of the sewer. Prepare to go for a swim as you fight the mighty Dungen Master and proceed to Lord Muffin's lair...
The Butlery- a magically interconnected space meant for storing and processing food served to all inns throughout the world who belong to the Tavern Association. The inner workings of the Butlery though are not for the faint of heart, as you must brave four unique and discrete zones before gaining access to the most prized innkeeper's items within the Vault.
The expansion includes many, many other new features including:
-
80+ new monsters, bringing the total to over 250!
A Monster Arena, where you can bet on matches or design your own custom monster fight!
Retooled difficulty balance! You must now seek out skill tomes before you are able to train a skill up to master, grandmaster or legend ranks! Normal/hard difficulty introduces new traps throughout all of the dungeons! Monsters (especially Elites) can get new traits based on your chosen difficulty!
The Micapedia! A new interactive 3D Monster viewer that lets you inspect the model of any monster you've defeated, and view all of its combat animations!
A top-down toggle! For those who don't love first person perspectives, a more classic "top down" mode can be toggled by just a press of the "v" key! Turn 90 degrees with the on-screen arrow buttons or the left/right arrow keys!
New spells/abilities, new gear, new traits, new enchantments!
Various bug fixes and visual improvements!
Adventuring in Mican has never been better!
*You may be wondering about the name. Well, the original (single) expansion was going to be called the "Crystal Expansion" because of a new crystal themed dungeon in the works, but it got bigger than expected and now that dungeon will have to wait a bit more. And things need to vitrify before they become crystals...
